Jay Park is set to release his sixth studio album titled “The One You Wanted” on October 8, according to his agency, More Vision, on Tuesday. The upcoming album marks Jay Park’s return to the LP format after a hiatus of 5 1/2 years, following his previous release, “The Road Less Traveled” in 2018.
In a statement, Park revealed that this album will remain faithful to his signature R&B style, similar to his widely praised 2016 album “Everything You Wanted.” He further shared that the focus of this project has been on delivering quality music rather than chasing trends, aiming to create something that would leave a meaningful mark on the Korean music scene.
Fans will get an opportunity to engage directly with Jay Park during a live stream on the day of the album's release, where he plans to discuss the new tracks and interact with listeners.
In addition to the album launch, Park will serve as the host for a new survival audition show for rappers, which will begin airing on October 2, adding another dimension to his multi-faceted career.
