NCT Wish is poised to make a highly anticipated return at the end of September, according to a report from local media on Tuesday. SM Entertainment, the group's label, has confirmed that the NCT subunit is preparing to release a new album next month, following the initial report.
The six-member subunit, which is the newest addition to the NCT family, will drop their first EP at the end of September. This will follow a prerelease set to occur early next month. Since their debut in February, NCT Wish has gained considerable attention with their music, releasing singles in both Japanese and Korean.
Their most recent single, “Songbird,” released in Korean, achieved remarkable success, selling over 530,000 copies in its first week. This figure is nearly double the sales of their debut single “Wish” and set a new record for a K-pop idol group that debuted this year.
The upcoming EP is highly anticipated, with fans eager to see how NCT Wish will continue to build on their impressive achievements and expand their musical repertoire.
