Tzuyang (real name Park Jung-won), a prominent mukbang YouTuber with over 10 million subscribers, has courageously shared her harrowing experience of abuse at the hands of her ex-boyfriend and former agency CEO.
During a live broadcast titled "I Will Tell You Everything" on her YouTube channel, Tzuyang revealed that she endured years of illegal filming and physical violence perpetrated by her ex-partner, Mr. A. She disclosed that attempts to end the relationship were met with threats of distributing compromising videos, effectively trapping her in a cycle of abuse.

The ordeal extended to financial exploitation, with Mr. A allegedly defrauding her of approximately 4 billion won through improper payment settlements from her broadcasts. Despite her efforts to seek justice through legal avenues, the case was dismissed following Mr. A's unexpected death, leaving Tzuyang without recourse.
These revelations come in response to recent allegations made by the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, suggesting that Tzuyang was blackmailed by cyberstalkers associated with "Cyber Wreckers," who threatened to expose her past unless she paid them tens of millions of won.
Throughout her broadcast, Tzuyang detailed the severe abuse she endured, including physical assaults with umbrellas and threats of disclosure to her family. She also highlighted how Mr. A exploited her successful mukbang channel, forcing her into an unfair contract where he claimed the majority of her earnings.

Legal representatives for Tzuyang joined the broadcast to present evidence of the abuse and ongoing legal battles, including multiple lawsuits against Mr. A for unpaid earnings, contract termination, and criminal charges of assault and sexual violence.
Lawyer Kim Tae-yeon emphasized the severity of Tzuyang's suffering and the substantial evidence supporting her claims. Despite the dismissal of one lawsuit due to Mr. A's death, legal efforts continue to seek justice and prevent further harm to Tzuyang and her supporters.
The courageous disclosure by Tzuyang sheds light on the dark realities of abuse and exploitation within the entertainment industry, sparking discussions on legal protections for victims and accountability for perpetrators.
