Two former members of Kep1er, Kang Yeseo and Mashiro, are set to debut again as part of a new girl group named Madein, according to an announcement by 143 Entertainment on Tuesday. Madein is scheduled to launch in September.
Kang Yeseo and Mashiro were initially members of Kep1er, a project group formed through the survival audition show “Girls Planet 999: Girls Saga.” Kep1er debuted in 2021 with the EP “First Impact” and recently held a concert in Yokohama, Japan, which marked the final activity featuring all nine members. Moving forward, Kep1er will continue as a seven-member group.
Yeseo and Mashiro have returned to their original agency, 143 Entertainment, which also disclosed that most members of Madein have previously participated in audition programs. The agency is optimistic about the group's potential, given the diverse experiences of its members.
