Boy band EXO has reached a remarkable milestone with their latest album, "Exist." Released last Monday, the group's seventh full-length album has shattered records by selling over 1.56 million copies in its first week, cementing its position as EXO's seventh million-selling album and their most successful release to date.

Even before its official launch, "Exist" garnered tremendous anticipation, accumulating a staggering 1.60 million pre-orders—the highest pre-order record ever achieved by the boy band.

EXO's journey to million-selling albums began in 2013 with their first full-length release, "XOXO (Kiss & Hug)." Since then, they have consistently captivated fans with their music, earning a dedicated following worldwide.

The triumph of "Exist" extended beyond domestic borders, as the album soared to the top of iTunes' Top Albums chart in 70 regions on the day of its release. From Japan and France to Germany and Singapore, EXO's global fanbase propelled them to new heights of success.

However, the release of "Exist" is bittersweet for EXO as it marks member Sehun's final album before commencing his mandatory military service later this year. Similarly, Kai, who began his social service in May, participated in the album's production but did not actively partake in promotional activities.

EXO comprises eight talented members: Xiumin, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, and Sehun. While Rei remains part of the band, he has been absent from most of EXO's albums and group activities since 2017 and departed from SM Entertainment in April 2022.

"Exist" not only showcases EXO's artistic growth but also signifies their unwavering popularity among global audiences. With their seventh full-length album, the group continues to redefine success and leave an indelible mark on the K-pop industry.
