STAYC, the sensational K-pop girl group, is set to make a triumphant return with a highly anticipated album on August 16, according to an announcement by their agency, High Up Entertainment, on Monday.

This upcoming release will mark STAYC's first music drop since the debut of their second Japanese single, "Teddy Bear (Japanese Version)," in April. Prior to that, the group captivated fans with their Korean single, "Teddy Bear," which was released on February 14.

In an official press release on Monday, High Up Entertainment stated, "STAYC is diligently working on an album, which we are aiming to release on August 16." Initially, the agency had mentioned a "late August" timeframe for the highly anticipated album.

STAYC, an acronym for "Star to a Young Culture," embodies the group's aspiration to become influential K-pop stars who inspire the younger generation. Comprised of six talented members—Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J—STAYC made their debut in November 2020 with the powerful track "So Bad." Their subsequent singles, "ASAP" and "Stereotype," surpassed 100 million total streams on the global music streaming platform, Spotify.

The group's albums, including "Stereotype," "Young-Luv.com" (2022), and "Staydom" (2021), have each garnered over 100 million album streams on Spotify, solidifying STAYC's prominent presence on streaming services.

As fans eagerly anticipate STAYC's comeback, High Up Entertainment has promised to gradually release more information about the album, heightening anticipation for what the group has in store for their loyal supporters.

STAYC's upcoming release is expected to further propel their rising stardom and leave an indelible mark on the K-pop industry. With their unique sound, captivating performances, and unwavering talent, the talented girl group is poised to continue captivating audiences worldwide.
