BoyNextDoor, a K-pop band managed by KOZ Entertainment, revealed plans for their Japanese debut with the single "AND," scheduled for release on July 10, according to an announcement made by the band's agency on Monday.
The upcoming Japanese debut single will feature one original Japanese song, along with Japanese versions of the band's Korean tracks "One and only," "But Sometimes," and "Earth, Wind & Fire," all of which were initially released in 2023.
KOZ Entertainment expressed optimism regarding BoyNextDoor's Japanese debut, citing the band's recent success with their second EP, "HOW?," which garnered favorable reactions in Japan following its release last month in Korea.
BoyNextDoor has already made significant waves in the Japanese music scene, as evidenced by their second EP "HOW?" securing the No. 2 spot on Oricon's weekly albums chart and topping the Hot Album chart on Billboard Japan.
Having debuted in May 2023 with their first single "WHO!" under KOZ Entertainment, a subsidiary of HYBE founded by Block B rapper Zico, BoyNextDoor comprises six members: Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jae-hyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak.
The band is scheduled to perform at the Summer Sonic 2024 festival in Japan, alongside other prominent K-pop acts including IVE and ZeroBaseOne.
