South Korean boy band Seventeen's latest compilation album, "17 is Right Here," has achieved unprecedented success, selling 2,967,937 copies within the first week of its release on April 29, according to market tracker Hanteo Chart. The album, which compiles 28 lead tracks from the band's previous albums along with four new songs, has set a new standard for K-pop compilation albums, typically known for lower sales compared to full-length albums featuring entirely new content.

The success of "17 is Right Here" extends beyond South Korea, as it currently holds the top position on the Japanese daily album rankings chart by Oricon for the fifth consecutive day. Additionally, the album has claimed the No. 1 spot on Line Music's top 100 albums chart as of Sunday.

The lead track of the album, "Maestro," has also seen significant success on local streaming platforms such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs, as well as reaching No. 1 on iTunes' Worldwide Song Chart.

Seventeen continues to captivate audiences globally with their "Follow" Again world tour, with upcoming performances scheduled in Osaka on May 18 and 19, followed by shows in Kanagawa on May 25 and 26.
