RM, leader of the K-pop group BTS, will release a prerelease track titled "Come Back to Me" from his upcoming second solo album. The song, accompanied by its music video, will be unveiled at 1 p.m. Korean time, two weeks before the album's full release, as announced by BigHit Music.
This marks RM's first release since his debut solo album "Indigo" in December 2022. "Come Back to Me" is described by the agency as an indie-pop genre song, exploring themes of right and wrong, which aligns with the album's main theme, "Right Place, Wrong Person."

The music video for the track was directed, produced, and written by Lee Sung-jin, known for his work on the Netflix original series "Beef" (2023), which received accolades from major Hollywood guilds earlier this year. The crew includes notable individuals such as Ryu Seong-hie, known for art direction in films like "The Handmaiden" (2016), and Kim Woo-hyung, the cinematographer of "Assassination" (2015) and "1987: When the Day Comes" (2017). Actor Kim Min-ha joins RM in the music video.
Oh Hyuk of the band Hyukoh is credited as the producer of "Come Back to Me," with Kuo from Sunset Rollercoaster contributing on guitar and bass. Singer-songwriter JNKYRD and San Yawn of Balming Tiger participated in writing the song, while RM penned the lyrics himself.
Following the prerelease of "Come Back to Me," RM's full 11-track album is set to be released on May 24. Despite currently serving in the Korean Army, RM was able to film music videos for nearly half of the album's tracks before his enlistment in December, according to BigHit.
The agency notes that RM's collaborations in his first solo album "Indigo" transcended the boundaries of music and art, and his new album, releasing after one year and five months, will continue to showcase collaborations that break down artistic boundaries.
