The single features the main track "Navy Blue" and a B-side track titled "Sketch." In "Navy Blue," Wooseok draws a comparison between his optimistic outlook and the bluish sky just before sunrise, emphasizing his ability to stay positive regardless of the challenges posed by unknown days. The second track, "Sketch," captures the theme of youth, expressing the anxieties and doubts associated with realizing one's full potential.
Wooseok is scheduled to perform both songs for the first time in front of fans at his inaugural solo fan meetup in Seoul on Saturday.
Having debuted as the main rapper of Pentagon in October 2016, Wooseok recently signed with Undefined Entertainment, marking the transition after the expiration of his seven-year contract with Cube Entertainment last month.
The release of "Empty Paper" not only marks a significant step in Wooseok's solo career but also underscores his commitment to exploring diverse musical themes, providing fans with a glimpse into his individual artistic expression.
