Founder and executive producer of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk, conveyed the news through an official YouTube video, stating, "Ahyeon has fully recovered, and she is now back recording the singles for the group’s upcoming album. We wanted to drop this announcement that many of you have been waiting for as soon as possible."

Ahyeon's journey with Babymonster was initially documented in a monthslong evaluation process shared on YouTube by the agency. Although she was meant to debut with the group in November last year, health issues prevented her participation.

Her return is anticipated to enhance the group's popularity, as Ahyeon had established herself as one of the most favored members even before the group's official debut. She is expected to actively participate in the promotion of Babymonster's first EP, scheduled for release in April.

Yang Hyun-suk also hinted at Babymonster's expansion into the global music market, revealing, "We have augmented the number of our producers to around 50 from 10. We promise that we will be able to present releases much faster than before. We aim to release the group’s studio album in the fall of this year."

Ahyeon has actively contributed to the recording of the upcoming single, 'Stuck In The Middle.' Teaser images for the release depict stars shining brightly in the night sky, and YG Entertainment has teased that the single will showcase the group's exceptional and unique vocals, distinguishing it from their hip-hop debut single, 'Batter Up.'
