The announcement, made via Lim's social media accounts and his overseas agency, IMG Artists, cited the pianist's ongoing treatment with medical professionals for the injury.

The affected performances included engagements with prestigious orchestras and venues, such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London and the Peralada Festival in Spain.
Lim, who recently turned 20, gained international acclaim after winning the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022. This setback marks another instance of health-related cancellations for Lim, following a bout of ear infection last year.
