Alongside a huge lineup of returning galleries, three galleries below are participating in the galleries art fair for the first time.
 

이번 화랑 미술제에는 기존에 참여하던 영향력 있는 갤러리와 처음으로 참여하는 갤러리들이 있습니다. 그 중 세 개의 갤러리를 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.

Dohingart Gallery is participating for the first time. One of the gallery’s motoes is to create a space that features and supports passionate artists who offer a new and unique perspective on art and help visitors understand and enjoy the real meaning of art. Accordingly, the space is composed of the works of four artists, Kang Joohyung, Ji Mingyoung, Jung Sane and Lee Hakmin. 

도잉 아트갤러리는 이번에 처음 미술제에 참여합니다. 갤러리의 모토 중 하나는 현대미술의 새로운 문맥을제시하는 열정 있는 작가들을 지원하고 예술의 진정한 의미를 이해하고 향유 할 수 있도록 돕는 것 입니다. 그에 맞게 네 명의 작가 강주형, 지민경, 정세인, 그리고 이학민 작가의 작품으로 공간을 구성했습니다. 

Ji Minjung is an artist who intuitively draws pictures using black ink and a brush on mulberry paper. When she expresses the identity of Korean painting, she is not limited to the material, but is an artist who demonstrates originality beyond that limit.
 

지민정 작가는 닥나무로 만든 장지에 검은 먹과 붓을 사용해서 직관적으로 그림을 그리는 작가니다. 그녀는 한국화의 정체성을 표현할 때 소재에 국한되지 않고 그 한계를 넘어 독창성을 발휘하는 작가입니다.

Atelier Aki is also its first time in the GALLERIES 2023. They are presenting Nathan Paddison’s paintings. Visitors find his paintings are experimental, raw and drawn from a troubled past. It came from the strength and speed with which he works go hand in hand with his strong lines and color choices.
 

아뜰리에 아키도 처음 참여합니다. 네이든 패디슨의 작품을 전시중인데요, 관람객들은 그의 그림을 보며 힘들었던 작가의 과거에 걸맞게 실험적이며 날 것 그대로의 느낌이 난다고 말합니다. 그림의 강한 선과 색감은 빠르게 작업하는 속도와 힘에서 비롯되었습니다.

KIDARI Gallery is participating this time as well. 'KIDARI' is a Korean word that means a tall person like Jervis, the main character of the novel 'Daddy-Long-Legs'. Like Jervis, it plays a role in discovering and nurturing talented young artists in the field of culture and arts. They are presenting Artist Shin Dae Jun’s works, Suh Seung Eun and Choi Hyeng Gil.
 

키다리갤러리도 이번에 참여합니다. 키다리'는 소설 '대디롱레그'의 주인공 저비스처럼 키가 큰 사람을 뜻하는 한국말입니다. 동시에 저비스 처럼 문화예술 분야에서 재능 있는 젊은 예술가를 발굴하고, 육성하는 역할을 하고 있습니다. 신대준, 서승은, 그리고 최형길 작가의 작품을 전시하고 있습니다.
