Mnet, the cable channel known for producing successful survival shows like "Produce 101" and "Show Me the Money," has introduced a new talent search show, "King Of Karaoke: VS." Premiered on October 20, the show aims to discover exceptional vocalists in karaoke, offering the winner a grand prize of 100 million won ($77,000).
The program features well-known producers from the music industry, including Jang Woo-young (2PM), Seo Eun-kwang (BTOB), Young K (DAY6), Kim Min-seok (Melomance), Lim Han-byul, Soyou, Roy Kim, Parc Jae-jung, Car the Garden, and rapper Giriboy.

At a press conference held at CGV Cheongdam Cine City in Gangnam District, Seoul, the producers unveiled five new songs by the contestants. The teams, named Young-Kwang, Byeol-Soyou, Giri Garden, Roy-Jung, and Meloday, will release remakes of the songs "Naivety," "I Still," "What's Wrong," "Trust In Time," and "Hurt Road," respectively. The tracks are based on the producers' original songs, rearranged for the competition.
The songs by Young-Kwang, Giri Garden, and Meloday are set to be released on multiple streaming platforms on Saturday, with the release dates for the other tracks yet to be revealed.
