JYP Entertainment announced on Friday that K-pop girl group TWICE is set to hold a concert at Nissan Stadium in Japan in July, marking the first instance of a K-pop girl group performing at the renowned venue. Also known as the International Stadium of Yokohama, Nissan Stadium boasts a seating capacity of 75,000.

Previously, the stadium hosted a concert by K-pop duo TVXQ! in 2013. TWICE, a nine-member act, is currently on a global tour that includes performances in Japan, the United States, and various other countries. The group is scheduled to perform in Mexico in February and in the U.S. in March.
As part of their tour, TWICE will also take the stage at Yanmar Field Nagai in Osaka on July 13-14, followed by performances at Nissan Stadium on July 28-29. Notably, the group's upcoming concert at Nissan Stadium makes them the first K-pop girl group to achieve this milestone.
In addition to their concert plans, TWICE is slated to release a new single titled "I Got You" in February.
