SEOUL, June 2 (SayArt)- Khalifa Gallery (Gangnam-Gu, Seoul) announces the forthcoming exhibition, "Etude of Lines: Study of Lines," which will be held from June 9th to June 30th. The exhibition explores the organic connection of the fundamental 'Line' structure, incorporating intricate metaphorical elements in the process.
The exhibition is set to showcase the distinct artistic expressions of three internationally acclaimed artists hailing from South Korea, Japan, and England. Each artist brings a unique exploration of line work to the gallery's floors.
Korean artist Sangsun Bae will present her thread ball artwork, an evolution of lines drawn with a brush and charcoal. Bae's work weaves a complex, multilayered narrative through her simple yet expressive use of line.

Japanese artist Katsutoshi Yuasa is bringing his distinct approach to the exhibition with a meticulous arrangement of lines in his woodblock work. The gentle harmony of his pieces showcases his mastery of traditional Japanese printmaking techniques, underscoring the subtlety of his approach to the line.

From England, Michael Whittle presents his Rotring pen artworks, featuring sharp, sophisticated lines. His detail-oriented technique brings a crisp clarity to his works, providing a compelling contrast to the other artists' contributions.

Despite their varied nationalities, all three artists share the commonality of having studied at the Royal College of Art, with experiences spanning across UK (London), and Japan.
