Amotti, also known as Kim Jae-hong, emerged as the unexpected winner of the competition. Despite lacking professional training and a fitness-related occupation, Amotti, a CrossFit influencer, impressed the judges with his passion for exercise and dedication to the competition. His background includes studying kinesiology at Yeungnam University and serving as a Marine sergeant in the military.

During a press interview in central Seoul, Amotti expressed his surprise at winning, emphasizing his enjoyment of the competition's challenges and his focus on personal growth throughout the process.
The show's creator, Jang Ho-gi, aimed to challenge stereotypes by designing missions that emphasized agility and cardiovascular endurance in addition to physical strength. The second season featured a set designed to resemble an underground mine, with elaborate obstacles and realistic elements inspired by actual mining experiences.

Despite some controversy from the first season, the production team ensured safety by consulting experts and conducting simulations.
