ONE AND J. Gallery is spotlighting the works of contemporary Korean artist Song Soo Min at ART SG 2025, held from January 17 to 19 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The gallery’s solo booth, titled Evolving Narratives, presents a curated selection of Song’s works from 2017 to 2025, offering an in-depth look at her artistic journey over eight years.
The exhibition highlights Song’s distinctive ability to reconstruct contrasting imagery, such as scenes of disasters juxtaposed with everyday life, into innovative visual narratives. Her approach involves fragmenting, overlapping, and reassembling diverse elements to create an ambiguous yet thought-provoking visual language. These reimagined compositions challenge viewers to explore interpretative possibilities and uncover hidden meanings within her works.
