The Korea Arts Council (Arts Council Korea) announced on the 10th that Choi Ho Jong, winner of Mnet’s dance survival program Stage Fighter, has been appointed as the ambassador for the 2024 Performing Arts Creation Centerpiece: New Works of the Year.

For its 2024 season, the program has selected 31 outstanding pieces that will be staged from January to March.

Through this initiative, the Arts Council aims to nurture innovative artistic talent and provide audiences with opportunities to experience diverse, high-quality performances. Choi’s ambassadorship is expected to enhance the program’s visibility and inspire greater public interest in foundational performing arts.
