Kwon Hana's Solo Exhibition to Open Simultaneously in Seoul and Tokyo

Kwon Hana's solo exhibition will be held simultaneously at SH Gallery Seoul on June 13th and SH Gallery Tokyo on June 8th. The exhibition centers around the adorable girl 'Nana,' who resembles the artist herself.

'Nana,' with her large, innocent eyes, exudes a mix of playfulness, shyness, and sentimentality. The character, while a reflection of the artist, is designed to resonate with everyone who views the works. 

The small girl 'Nana' combines cuteness with a lyrical atmosphere, inviting viewers to delve into her inner stories. The title aptly reflects the allure that 'Nana' embodies.

The desserts and delicious foods atop 'Nana's head are not just for show; they serve as mediums for recalling past moments and sharing memories. The artist uses food to connect with the past.

Kwon Hana draws inspiration from everyday events for her artworks. Her exhibition is expected to be a heartwarming and delightful experience that allows everyone to relate to 'Nana' and revisit their own memories.

In the exhibition preface, the artist mentions that the smell of baking bread brings her comfort and happiness. This scent helps her navigate emotional chaos and fortify her inner self.

Known as the granddaughter of the late renowned Korean artist Kwon Ok-yeon, Kwon Hana was born in 1990 and graduated from the Art Center College of Design in the USA. She has been actively exhibiting since returning to Korea in 2014.
