The Busan International AI Film Festival was successfully held at the Small Theater of the Busan Cinema Center from December 6 to 8.

The festival featured 15 finalists and 7 invited films, divided into six sections, following a rigorous preliminary selection process.

The showcased films, created using AI video production tools such as MidJourney and Runway, demonstrated remarkable technological advancement and the unique creativity of participating directors.

The Grand Prize was awarded to Witness, a mystery short film by director Yang Ik Jun, which centers around a self-driving car as the key to unfolding events.

Organizers noted that the festival served as a stepping stone for expanding international networks and expressed optimism about its role in advancing innovative film platforms in the future.
