The German city of Pasewalk has unveiled a colorful graffiti wall to promote its upcoming 775th anniversary celebration, marking another milestone in the city's efforts to commemorate its rich historical heritage. The artistic installation was erected at the intersection of Torgelower Street, Friedenstraße, and Lindenstraße as part of a collaborative community project.
The graffiti wall represents a joint initiative involving multiple local organizations and businesses working together to celebrate Pasewalk's significant milestone. According to city officials, the project brought together the City of Pasewalk, Bahrmann GmbH, Nentwich GmbH, and the Pasewalk Housing Construction Company (Woba), with additional support from the city's Technical Services department. The collaborating partners installed stacking stones featuring promotional motifs specifically designed for the anniversary celebration.
Mayor Danny Rodewald expressed his enthusiasm for the project during the wall's inauguration ceremony, calling it "a strong community project that shows what is possible when everyone pulls together." The mayor specifically thanked graffiti artist Karl Seeger from Penkun for his creative contributions and acknowledged the support provided by the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. Rodewald emphasized that the collaborative effort of all participants resulted in a vibrant eye-catcher that already generates excitement for the upcoming jubilee year.
