Tving's highly anticipated original series, "A Bloody Lucky Day," is set to premiere on November 24 after its first two episodes garnered attention at this year's Busan International Film Festival.
The suspense thriller, adapted from the webcomic of the same name, follows the story of Oh Taek (Lee Sung-min), a financially struggling taxi driver. His life takes an unexpected turn when a dream about a pig, symbolizing good luck, precedes a lucrative day. However, his fortunes quickly take a dark twist when he discovers that his seemingly ordinary passenger, Geum Hyuk-soo (Yoo Yeon-seok), is a serial killer.

Directed by Pil Gam-seong, known for leading the 2021 thriller film "Hostage: Missing Celebrity," the 10-part series marks the director's debut in television. Pil Gam-seong expressed his interest in the challenge of creating a suspenseful narrative within limited space and time, combining elements of a road trip movie with a thriller.
Lead actor Lee Sung-min, renowned for his role as a conglomerate chairman in the hit series "Reborn Rich," shared his goal of portraying a character distinctly different from his previous role. He highlighted the challenges of maintaining realism while filming in the confined space of a taxi and emphasized the difficulty of balancing suspense with the act of driving.

The series adaptation expands upon the original webcomic, introducing additional background information and the character Hwang Soon-kyu (Lee Jung-eun), who seeks justice for the killing of her son by Hyuk-soo.
The first six episodes of "A Bloody Lucky Day" will premiere on Friday, with the remaining episodes set to release in the following weeks.
