Ive has heightened fan anticipation by pre-releasing Crush, the title track from its upcoming second Japan EP Alive, set to officially drop on August 28. The EP will include five tracks, featuring two new songs: Crush and Will. The latter has already garnered attention as the opening theme song for the popular Pokemon animation series, further solidifying Ive's global appeal.
In the music video for Crush, the six members are seen enjoying a carefree day under the summer sun, perfectly capturing the lively and upbeat nature of the song. With its vibrant pop sound, Crush is poised to become a summer anthem.
Ive’s first Japan EP Wave, released in May last year, was a major success, topping Oricon’s daily and weekly album charts. The group is now gearing up for encore performances of their first world tour at Tokyo Dome on September 4 and 5. The Japan leg of the tour attracted approximately 78,000 attendees, demonstrating the group's immense popularity.
Additionally, Ive is slated to perform at Summer Sonic 2024 in Osaka and Tokyo on August 17 and 18. This appearance at one of Japan's most prestigious music festivals will showcase Ive's musical versatility and stage presence to a broader audience.
