BTS’ “SWIM” has placed near the top of Billboard’s global summer song rankings for 2026.

According to Billboard’s “2026 Global Songs of the Summer” results released Sept. 10, “SWIM” ranked No. 2 on the Global Excl. U.S. list and No. 6 on the Global 200 list.

The rankings combine weekly chart performance for chart dates running from June 6 through Sept. 12. Both are based on streaming and sales activity across more than 200 territories, while the Global Excl. U.S. chart removes data from the United States.

“SWIM” has spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the weekly Global Excl. U.S. chart and remained in its top five for 23 consecutive weeks. It has also led the Global 200 for four weeks and maintained a top-10 position for 19 consecutive weeks.

The song’s parent album, “ARIRANG,” rose two places to No. 29 on the Billboard 200 dated Sept. 12. The result extends the album’s chart run to 24 consecutive weeks.

The “SWIM” music video was also named the winner of Best Group Video – International at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards Japan on Sept. 8.

It marks BTS’ fourth win in the category following “FAKE LOVE,” “Dynamite” and “Butter.”
