K-pop group Monsta X is set to celebrate the 9th anniversary of its official fan club, Monbebe, with a special livestream event on Thursday. The event marks a significant milestone for both the group and its dedicated fanbase, reflecting nearly a decade of mutual support and connection.
In preparation for the anniversary, Monsta X released a heartfelt video titled "Monbebe 9th Birthday," where the members, accompanied by a plush character representing member Minhyuk, expressed their gratitude to fans. The group shared handwritten messages and reflected on the journey they have shared with their fandom.
During the video, leader Shownu confirmed plans for a livestream to further celebrate the occasion, while Hyungwon unveiled a behind-the-scenes video clip that he recorded before his military enlistment. Currently, four members of Monsta X are serving their mandatory military duty.
Meanwhile, the group’s youngest member, I.M, is nearing the conclusion of his solo world tour, which has taken him to 14 cities across six countries. His final performance of the tour is set to take place in Macau this Sunday.
Monsta X also commemorated the 9th anniversary of their debut earlier this year in May, with a livestream event featuring Shownu and I.M.
