HYBE has consolidated the label support functions of its global subsidiaries into a single organisation and appointed Juan S. Arenas to lead the expanded operation.

The newly reorganised Global Label Services division will oversee distribution, marketing, promotion and publicity support for HYBE-affiliated labels and artists across multiple markets.

The restructuring extends the label services model that HYBE first introduced in the United States under its HYBE 2.0 strategy in 2024. The company subsequently applied the system to other regional operations and will now connect its resources across South Korea, Japan, the United States, Latin America, India and other markets.

HYBE said the change forms part of its “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy, which aims to establish local business infrastructure in major music markets while developing artists from different regions and genres.

Arenas previously held senior intellectual property and business positions within HYBE’s overseas operations, including roles at HYBE America and HYBE Latin America. As president of Global Label Services, he will oversee support for Korean artists entering overseas markets as well as locally developed acts seeking wider distribution in South Korea and other territories. His appointment and the expanded leadership structure were also reported by international music-industry media earlier this month.

The division’s responsibilities include developing global distribution strategies, managing supply chains, coordinating relationships with regional distributors and digital streaming platforms, and supporting market-specific promotion and marketing.

HYBE has also recruited Nicole Csabai as senior vice-president of global distribution. Based in Nashville, she will oversee catalogue operations, digital platform relationships, commerce and international distribution partnerships. Csabai previously served as senior vice-president of revenue at Universal Music Group’s Interscope Records.

A new Artist Success Unit has been established within the company’s global artist services operation. The unit will act as a dedicated point of contact for labels, coordinating overseas projects and connecting them with relevant internal support.

Melissa Victor-Burkhardt, formerly a senior vice-president responsible for publicity and brand strategy at Epic Records, has been appointed executive vice-president to lead the unit.

Johanna Fuentes, who has held entertainment communications roles at CBS and Warner Bros. Entertainment, has also joined the organisation to strengthen its global publicity operation.

Separately, HYBE has appointed Jenni Pfaff as chief people and transformation officer, a newly created position overseeing global recruitment, workforce deployment and collaboration among regional offices. Pfaff previously held the same title for HYBE America and HYBE Latin America.

HYBE chief executive Jason Jaesang Lee said the restructuring was intended to strengthen the distribution, marketing, promotion and publicity infrastructure available to artists operating from the company’s regional bases.

The centralised system is designed to give labels access to shared international resources while allowing individual artists to retain their own identities and musical direction.
