Boynextdoor, the rising K-pop boy band, has officially announced their return with new music slated for September. The group's agency, KOZ Entertainment, revealed a teaser clip on Tuesday, heralding the comeback with a video titled “The Beginning of Countdown: 19.99.” The 16-second visual opens with a mysterious device falling onto a darkened street, triggering a countdown. The clip concludes with the announcement of the new album's title and its release date: September 9.
This return comes approximately five months after the release of their second EP, “How?” which has achieved impressive commercial success, selling over 760,000 copies to date. The mini album garnered significant acclaim, being featured on Billboard's list of “The 20 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024 (So Far).”
In addition to their upcoming album, Boynextdoor recently expanded their international presence with the debut of their single “And” in Japan. The track, released last month, has already made waves in the Japanese music industry, earning platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. It topped Oricon’s daily album rankings and achieved notable positions at No. 2 on both the weekly and combined weekly album charts.
