KATSEYE will perform as a headliner at Lollapalooza India 2027, marking the group’s first appearance in the country since its debut.
The festival will take place on Jan. 23 and 24 at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai. KATSEYE is scheduled to perform on the second day alongside acts including Olivia Dean, St. Vincent, Steve Angello and Aditya Gadhvi.
The wider headline lineup includes British singer-songwriter Dean, American rock band Limp Bizkit and Irish band Fontaines D.C. More than 40 international and Indian acts will appear across four stages during the two-day event.
Lollapalooza began in the United States in 1991 and has since expanded to editions in South America, Europe and Asia. The Mumbai event was introduced in 2023 and will hold its fifth edition in 2027.
The appearance will extend KATSEYE’s performance activity into another Asian market following promotions centred largely on North America and Europe. The Mumbai concert will carry an additional personal connection for Indian American member Lara, who will perform in her country of heritage with the group for the first time.
KATSEYE was formed through a partnership between HYBE and Geffen Records and debuted in the United States in 2024. The multinational group is composed of Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae.
The group is currently touring North America with “THE WILDWORLD TOUR,” following the August release of its third EP, “WILD.”
The EP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and ranked No. 39 on the chart dated Oct. 31, extending its run to 10 consecutive weeks.
Its advance single “Animal” placed No. 30 on the latest Billboard Hot 100. The track also reached a new group high of No. 8 on Pop Airplay, which measures weekly plays at mainstream Top 40 radio stations in the United States.
“Animal” recently surpassed 1 billion Spotify streams, becoming KATSEYE’s seventh song to reach the milestone and the first track released in 2026 to do so.
Lollapalooza India organisers have confirmed that KATSEYE’s Mumbai appearance will be one of several debut performances in India at the 2027 festival. Other artists making their first appearances in the country include Dean, Limp Bizkit, Fontaines D.C., 5 Seconds of Summer and St. Vincent.
